Fill out a membership form. Click the link below to print at home, or pick one up at a meeting or event. Submit it to the Society with your payment by mail or in person.

In person: give your completed membership form and payment to the president or treasurer.

Your canceled check serves as your receipt. Receipts for cash payments provided upon request. Current members will receive a reminder notice about renewal annually.

We accept cash (in-person only) or checks made payable to Mineola Historical Society. We are unable to accept any other form of payment at this time. 

Yes! Mineola Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) organization. Your contributions of dues or monetary donations are deductible to the extent allowed by law. For information on donating items to our collection, click here.

Dues and monetary donations are used in a variety of ways. These include the maintenance/preservation of the collection, purchases of historic items such as may be found on eBay or at estate sales, offsetting the cost of delivering programs to the public such as our recent trolley tour, and more.

  Membership has its perks! Members are eligible to:

• be elected as officers
• vote for officers, or on any other business requiring a vote
• receive preferred registration/admission to any programs or special events requiring advance registration
• receive first access to the quarterly Society newsletter (coming soon!)
• make new friends & socialize

Not at all. Meetings are open to anyone regardless of membership status. However, attendance is the best way to be informed about Society activities, and the only way to cast a vote. More information regarding meetings may be found here.

Members receive a reminder postcard about monthly meetings. Other information is typically shared via email.
